Privacy notice
What this site knows about you: almost nothing.
Prudentialytics and the CRR Explorer are static pages. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking cookies. This notice sets out the few places where data about you is nevertheless processed, and by whom.
Who runs this site
Prudentialytics is an independent project publishing EU prudential regulation as a navigable reference, built from official sources. It is not a supervisor, a law firm or an EU body. For anything in this notice, write to info@crrexplorer.com.
This notice covers prudentialytics.com and crrexplorer.com, which are one site on two domains.
What we do not do
- No accounts, sign-ups, newsletters or mailing lists.
- No analytics or usage measurement of any kind, first- or third-party.
- No advertising, no advertising identifiers, no social-media buttons or embeds.
- No cookies set by us. Nothing you read on the site is recorded by us.
What your browser stores on your own device
Two preferences are kept in your browser’s local storage so the site remembers them between visits: the colour theme (theme: light or dark) and, in the Explorer, the language you last chose (crrLang). They never leave your device, are never sent to us, and disappear when you clear the site’s data in your browser.
Hosting
Both domains are served by Cloudflare, Inc. (Workers and static assets). Like any web host, Cloudflare processes the technical data of each request — your IP address, the address requested, the browser’s identification string — to deliver the page and to protect the service against abuse, and keeps operational logs for a limited time. We have no access to per-visitor logs. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
Fonts
The pages use the typefaces Libre Franklin, Crimson Pro and Courier Prime, and — when you read the regulation in Greek or in a language written in Cyrillic — Noto Serif, Noto Sans and Noto Sans Mono. Every one of them is served from this site itself. No page requests a font, a script, a stylesheet or an image from any other host: the site makes no third-party request at all. The flags in the Explorer’s language menu are drawn with whatever emoji font your own device provides.
The contact form
The form on the contact page asks for a message and a topic, and optionally your name, your email address and the article concerned. Only the message is required. Pressing Send hands the message to Formsubmit (formsubmit.co), a third-party relay that forwards it by email to info@crrexplorer.com; Formsubmit processes it for that purpose under its own privacy policy. If you would rather not use a relay, Copy message instead puts the text on your clipboard for your own email program, and nothing is sent from the page.
We keep a message for as long as it takes to deal with it — a correction, for example, stays on file until the data has been checked and, where needed, fixed. Messages are not shared with anyone else, not used for any other purpose, and not added to any list. If you gave an email address, it is used only to reply.
Links to other sites
Almost every page links to the official sources — EUR-Lex, the Publications Office, the European Banking Authority. Those sites have their own privacy notices; ours ends when you leave.
Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation you may ask what personal data we hold about you (in practice: at most the messages you sent us), have it corrected or deleted, or object to its processing. Write to info@crrexplorer.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data-protection supervisory authority.
Changes
